Colorado Ski Resorts

Owning real estate at a world-class ski resort is a dream for many. Waking up in the morning and catching first tracks from your private home on the mountain is a one-of-a-kind experience that's one of the best feelings imaginable if you're ever clicked into a board or pair of skis.

Colorado is known the world over for its world-class skiing and snowboarding all over the state. Colorado has some of the most iconic ski mountains globally, and the resorts are high-altitude havens that can't be beaten. Amazing skiing, fantastic restaurants, engaging nightlife, and family-friendly activities await you in every corner of the state. There are ski resorts less than two hours from Denver, perfect for a weekend ski getaway. Out west, top resorts lure skiers and snowboarders to purchase property for its authentic vibe, endless bluebird skies, and thrilling skiing. Destinations provide excellent skiing and an authentic Western ambiance in the south-central part of the state.

Just like the many ski resorts of Colorado are different, so are the various properties available to purchase at these resorts. There are uber-exclusive, ski-in, ski-out private homes on the mountainside that are ultimate mountain living. There are also luxury condos, cottages, villas, and hamlets in various sizes in the ski villages only steps from the lifts that are perfect for couples just starting or retirees seeking the ideal ski residence in the heart of all the action at the resort. There are even fractional interests at properties like the Ritz-Carlton Club, where you can purchase condo time in two-week intervals and enjoy all the perks of the luxury brand.

Eagle County is home to iconic Vail and its three distinct ski areas: Vail Village, Arrowhead, and Bachelor's Gulch. Vail Village feels like a European village in the Alps, while Arrowhead is more contemporary and upscale. Bachelor's Gulch is low-key but near family-friendly fun, restaurants, and shopping.

Pitkin County is home to four thrilling ski resorts near Aspen: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. Located in downtown Aspen, Aspen Mountain serves up expert runs, extensive views, and luxury at every turn. Aspen Highlands is home to the famous Highlands Bowl just outside of town. Buttermilk, only five minutes from downtown Aspen, has hosts the Winter X Games every January. Snowmass is a massive ski resort with giant powder and fabulous backcountry skiing.

Glenwood Springs in Garfield County is a true gem of the West, with four-season activities at Sunlight Mountain and along the majestic Colorado River, which flows through nearby Glenwood Canyon. Glenwood Springs is only about 45 minutes from Aspen and is a gateway to some of the unique parts of the state.

Summit County is home to three of the world's best ski resorts: Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain. Each resort is different - and there's a lot of terrain to explore on the front and back sides. Breckenridge is a classic ski town with beautiful well-established homes and condos in a city that bustles with activity during all four seasons. Hardcore skiers and boarders love Keystone and Copper Mountain's excellent runs, open and challenging terrain, and massive powder days.
